No Overloading: Do not exceed the fill line. Overloaded skips cannot be transported safely. If overloading occurs, a wasted journey fee will apply.

Avoid Restricted Items: Items such as mattresses, sofas, and fridges cannot loaded to skip, but if found in the skip additional charges of £50 per item will be applied.

A skip permit is required when a skip is placed on public land, such as a road or pavement. Please note that Citytasker does not handle skip permit applications or services for skips placed on public land. Customers are responsible for arranging their own skip permits and providing documentation.

If you have a valid skip permit and documentation, we can provide skip hire services. However, if you do not have space to place the skip on private property or a valid permit for public placement, we regret that we cannot provide the service.

A wasted journey fee applies when our team is unable to deliver or collect a skip due to preventable issues. Common scenarios include:

• Delivery Issues: No clear access or a blocked area prevents us from placing the skip.

• Collection Issues:

  • Trash is piled around the skip, restricting access.

  • The skip is overloaded or contains restricted items.

  • The skip is blocked by other vehicles or objects.

In such cases, we are unable to deliver or collect the skip, and the wasted journey fee will be applied to the customer.
